Sustainable Sport

By using the term Sustainable Sport, means UWTCC is completely aware of Climate Change factor and has taken it seriously.

UWTCC will try and make Tennis Cricket a Suistable Sport, which seeks to minimise the sport’s ecological impact on the environment.

UWTCC will ensure that every organiser, player and fan follows the rules made by UWTCC to make Tennis Cricket a Green Sport.

As an Organisation:

  • 1. UWTCC will make sure all the applicable environmental requirements and standards are met.
  • 2. UWTCC will facilitate waste separation for participants, collect all the rubbish generated during the event and take it to the place the authorities indicate.
  • 3. UWTCC will promote the saving of energy and water, and the use of re-usable receptacles like refillable bottles, fabric bags, wooden cutlery, etc.
  • 4. UWTCC will inform participants that they cannot disturb animals or deviate from the paths.

As a player

  • 1. UWTCC will ensure that the players put their waste in a waste bin. If there isn't one nearby, they will carry it with them in their backpack or in their hand until they find one.
  • 2. UWTCC will ensrure that the players avoid routes through sensitive ecosystems and don't take short-cuts through crops even if they on foot or bicycle.
  • 3. UWTCC will ensure that the playes do not waste water, purchase only the equipment they need and do not buy single-use plastics and disposable materials.
